Slime RNG Luck Guide — How to Stack Maximum Luck

The complete map of every luck source in Slime RNG, ranked by impact and stacking behaviour. Build the perfect roll setup in one sitting.

Last updated: 2026-05-24

Luck is the single most important stat in Slime RNG. Every Roll you make in the Stouts Studio gacha sim pulls from a weighted drop table, and your luck multiplier directly shifts the odds toward rarer slimes. The game's own description spells it out — "🍀Get lucky!" sits between rolling and unlocking worlds in the core loop, and the game even rewards players for liking and group-joining with +1 Luck right on the splash screen. If you maximise luck before you roll, you skip dozens of wasted attempts at mid-rarity duplicates.

This page is the full map. We cover every luck source we have confirmed from the official game description, the Stouts Studio Discord, Eurogamer's 23 May 2026 coverage, and community testing on r/SlimeRNG_. You will learn which sources stack additively, which multiply, which are timed, and the order to chase them as a new player or as a rebirth-grinder. Once you know your full luck stack, plug it into the Slime RNG luck calculator to see your true effective multiplier before you spend a high-value Roll or Big Dice.

How luck works in Slime RNG

Luck in Slime RNG is a multiplier applied to the drop table when you press Roll. The base game ships every player with a luck value of 1.00x. Every permanent bonus you unlock — group join, like, favorite, rebirths — pushes that number up. Temporary bonuses (Luck Boost potions, friend-in-server stacks, Lucky toys) layer on top either additively or multiplicatively depending on the source. Stouts Studio has not published an official formula, but community testing across hundreds of rolls suggests permanent bonuses combine into a base multiplier, and timed boosts multiply that base. We model this in our calculator as effectiveLuck = baseLuck × boostMultiplier.

The practical implication: stacking a permanent +1 with another permanent +1 gives you a flat add, while adding a 2x Luck Boost potion on top of a +5 base gives you a 10x effective multiplier. That is why organising your luck setup matters far more than redeeming one or two extra codes. Everything multiplies through the boost layer, so unstacked permanents are wasted.

Every Slime RNG luck source (ranked by impact)

The table below covers every luck source verified as of 24 May 2026. "Permanence" tells you whether the bonus survives a server hop and a daily logout. "Stacks" tells you whether it adds to your base luck or multiplies with the rest of your stack.

The fastest free luck stack (15 minutes, no Robux)

Brand-new players can build a respectable permanent luck base in about 15 minutes without spending a single Robux. Do these steps in order — the +1 luck additions are small individually but they all multiply through any boost you later layer on top.

  1. Like the game. Click the thumbs-up on the official Roblox page. Permanent +1 luck. Takes 3 seconds.
  2. Favorite the game. Click the star icon next to the Like. Permanent +1 luck. Takes 3 seconds.
  3. Join Stouts Studio's group. Open the group page and click Join. Permanent +1 luck. Takes 10 seconds. Do not leave the group — the bonus vanishes if you do.
  4. Join the Discord. Use the official invite to get the in-game role and unlock the #codes channel. This is not a luck source on its own but it is the gate to every future code-based Luck Boost.
  5. Redeem every active code. Visit our Slime RNG codes page and copy each working code into the in-game redemption UI. Most active codes drop Luck Boost potions, Rolls, or Big Dice.
  6. Invite up to five friends to your server. Each friend adds another stacking luck bonus. Use a public Roblox Discord channel or your own group chat to find five willing slime grinders.
  7. Log in daily for at least a week. The streak chest delivers small daily luck bonuses plus shop currency you can spend on Lucky toys.

Maximum-stack setup (the spreadsheet meta)

Once you have the free permanent base set, the spreadsheet community on Reddit prioritises the following layered approach to push your effective luck into the multi-hundred range:

  1. Reach Rebirth 1. Even the first rebirth grants a permanent percentage luck multiplier that dwarfs every +1 bonus combined. See the rebirth guide for the cost curve.
  2. Activate Luck Boost potion right before rolling. Never burn a Luck Boost while AFK. Time your potions so the boost is live during high-value rolls (after a rebirth, with friends online, with Big Dice in inventory).
  3. Bring five friends. Coordinate via Discord and time everyone joining at once. Five simultaneous friends in the lobby is the largest single multiplier you control without spending Robux.
  4. Layer Ultra Luck Boost. If you have an Ultra Luck Boost active (from a code, premium purchase, or event reward), do not double-stack with basic Luck Boost — only the highest tier applies.
  5. Pop Big Dice on the rarest expected pull. Big Dice give you a guaranteed re-roll. Use one immediately if your first roll lands a low-rarity slime during the boost window.
  6. Save the next Roll for a planned grind window. If you only have one Roll left and your Luck Boost is on cooldown, do not spend it. Wait until your full stack is ready.

What does not stack (don't waste boosts)

Three common mistakes drain real luck without delivering value:

  • Doubling up on Luck Boost potions. Multiple potions of the same tier do not refresh the timer linearly — the game caps to the highest active boost. Drink the next potion right after the current one expires, not while it is still ticking down.
  • Mixing Luck Boost and Ultra Luck Boost. Only the higher-tier boost applies. Save your basic Luck Boosts for sessions where you do not have an Ultra Luck Boost available.
  • Joining a server with random players you think are friends. The friends-in-server bonus only counts Roblox friends, not random lobby teammates. Send actual friend requests before the grind.

Common luck mistakes for new players

  1. Rolling before redeeming codes. Always redeem first — codes often drop Luck Boost potions that you would have rolled without.
  2. Rebirthing too early. The break-even on a first rebirth depends on your Goop balance and world unlocks. See the rebirth guide for the cost-versus-multiplier table.
  3. Skipping the group join. Forgetting the free +1 from group join is the most common +1 luck left on the table. Always join.
  4. Ignoring Big Dice. Big Dice are a guaranteed re-roll. They are the single most luck-efficient consumable in the game — they let you avoid the luck multiplier entirely on a bad roll.

FAQ

What is the maximum luck I can stack in Slime RNG?

There is no published hard cap. Community spreadsheets on Reddit estimate effective multipliers north of 500x are achievable at Rebirth 10+ with five friends in server, an Ultra Luck Boost active, and Lucky toys. Most casual players cap out around 20x to 40x with the free permanent base plus one Luck Boost potion.

Do friends need to be active in the server for the luck bonus?

Yes. The friends-in-server multiplier checks at the time of the Roll, not when they joined. If a friend disconnects, you lose that +1 immediately. Plan rolls when your friends are confirmed online and AFK in the lobby.

How long does a Luck Boost potion last?

Standard Luck Boost potions last around 30 minutes. Higher-tier Ultra Luck Boosts last around 60 minutes. These windows do not pause if you tab out — the timer runs in real time, so do not pop one before going AFK.

Does liking and favoriting give the same luck bonus?

They are separate +1 bonuses. Doing both gives you +2 permanent luck. You only need to do them once per Roblox account — the bonus persists across servers and devices.

Can I lose luck if I unjoin the group?

Yes. Leaving the Stouts Studio group removes the +1 luck bonus immediately. Stay in the group for as long as you play the game.

Where to go next

With your luck stack mapped, plug your real numbers into the luck calculator to see your effective multiplier before your next roll. If you are still grinding for your first rebirth, the rebirth guide shows the cost break-even, and the goop farming guide helps you hit the rebirth threshold faster. New players should start with the beginner guide.
