Slime RNG luck stacks across at least ten different sources — likes, group join, friends in server, Luck Boost potions, Ultra Luck Boosts, rebirths, Lucky toys, daily logins, and world unlocks. Each layer either adds to your base or multiplies through it, and the difference between a casual setup and a meta-optimised stack can be a 50x swing in effective luck. This calculator combines every input into one number so you can answer the only question that matters: is rolling right now worth it, or should I wait for one more boost?
Drop the live tool is below. Detailed explanation of the formula and worked examples are underneath. If you do not know what numbers to plug in yet, start with the luck guide — it walks through every source and how to obtain it.
How the Slime RNG luck formula works
Stouts Studio has not published the exact server-side calculation, but community testing on Reddit's r/SlimeRNG_ plus the in-game UI hint at a two-layer model. Permanent luck bonuses combine into a base multiplier, and active boosts multiply that base by their own factor for the boost duration. We model the formula as:
effectiveLuck = baseLuck × boostMultiplier
baseLuck = 1.0 + likes + favorites + groupJoin + (friends × 1) + (rebirths × rebirthMultiplier) + worldBonus + toyBonus
boostMultiplier = max(luckBoost, ultraLuckBoost)The calculator above implements exactly this. Permanent contributions feed into base luck; the boost slider only multiplies the final base. This matches observed behaviour where mixing two boost tiers gives the same result as the higher tier alone, while permanent +1 bonuses all add to the base before the multiplier hits.
How to use the calculator
- Set your rebirth count. Every rebirth grants a permanent luck multiplier. Most players see a roughly 25-50% luck gain per early rebirth, tapering after Rebirth 5. See the rebirth guide for the curve.
- Check your permanent +1 sources. Tick the Like, Favorite, and Group Join boxes if you have done each. Each is a one-time +1 luck.
- Add friends in server. Move the slider to match how many Roblox friends are currently in the lobby. The bonus updates in real time inside the game.
- Set your active boost tier. If you have a basic Luck Boost potion active, choose 2x. If you have an Ultra Luck Boost active, choose the higher tier. Pick "None" if no boost is currently active.
- Read the output. The big number at the bottom is your effective luck multiplier. Compare it to the chart we ship next to the result for context — anything above ~50x is in S-tier territory.
Worked example: my luck stack vs a Rebirth 5 grinder
Let's compare two players to see why optimisation pays off:
- Player A (casual): rebirth 0, like/favorite/group all done (base 4.0), no friends, no boost. Effective luck = 4.0x.
- Player B (optimised): rebirth 5, like/favorite/group, five friends in server, Ultra Luck Boost active. Permanent base ≈ 1.0 + 3 + 5 + (5 × 0.5 rebirth bonus) = 11.5, times the 3x Ultra Luck Boost gives 34.5x effective luck.
Player B rolls almost 9x more luck per attempt than Player A for the same Roll. Across 100 rolls, that is the difference between landing one S-tier slime and landing eight. The calculator above lets you simulate any combination so you can plan your grind window before spending a single Roll.
When to roll, when to wait
Use the calculator as a yes/no gate before every high-value roll. Here is the decision logic we recommend:
- Effective luck under 5x — do not spend Big Dice or rare Rolls. Burn cheap rolls only for slime progress.
- Effective luck 5x to 20x — standard farming territory. Spend regular Rolls but save Big Dice for higher windows.
- Effective luck 20x to 50x — strong window. Pop Big Dice on rolls that land mid-rarity.
- Effective luck above 50x — drop everything. This is when you blow through your saved Rolls, redeem any pending Free Rolls from codes, and chase the rarest slimes.
FAQ
Does the calculator account for Lucky toys / gamepass bonuses?
Yes, indirectly — toy bonuses are permanent so add them to your "world / toy bonus" input. We did not include a Robux purchases breakdown because the official Stouts Studio listing changes monthly. Use the in-game shop's own % display.
Why does the calculator say my luck dropped when I logged a Luck Boost?
Two scenarios: either your boost timer expired without you noticing (Luck Boosts last 30-60 minutes in real time), or you stacked a basic Luck Boost on top of an Ultra Luck Boost — only the higher tier applies, so the calculator shows the Ultra value alone.
Is this the official Stouts Studio formula?
No. The official server-side math is not public. Our formula is reverse-engineered from community testing, in-game UI behaviour, and the dev's own description language ("+1 Luck" for permanent sources, "x2" for boost potions). We tune the constants when new data appears in the Discord or on r/SlimeRNG_.
How accurate is the rebirth multiplier?
Our default per-rebirth bonus is a community average. The real per-rebirth value drifts up at higher rebirth counts. If you have a screenshot of your in-game rebirth luck display, plug that value directly into the rebirth slot — the calculator accepts custom multipliers.
Can I share my luck result with my friends?
The URL updates with your slider values, so copy the address bar to share an exact luck snapshot. We are building permalink screenshots for the Stage 10 polish pass.
