Understanding the rarity bands

Slime RNG uses a five-tier rarity system that mirrors most Roblox gacha sims. Every Roll consults a weighted drop table; your effective luck multiplier (from the luck stack and any active Luck Boost) shifts which band you are most likely to land in. The bands are S (Mythic), A (Legendary), B (Epic), C (Rare), and D (Common). Higher bands roll exponentially less often, so collecting the full S tier is the long-tail meta goal for serious players.

S tier — Mythic

S tier slimes are the rarest drops in the game. At base luck (1.0x), the chance of rolling an S tier per Roll is estimated under 0.01%. With a fully optimised stack (Rebirth 5+, five friends, Ultra Luck Boost), the effective rate climbs into the 0.1-0.5% range. Plan to spend Big Dice on every Mythic-window roll — a guaranteed re-roll on a wasted attempt is almost always worth more than the dice itself.

A tier — Legendary

A tier is the first realistic collection milestone. Most players accumulate their first Legendary within the first day if they redeem all active codes and stack the free permanent luck base. Rolling a complete A-tier set typically takes the first weekend of serious play. These slimes also act as fodder for fusion / crafting if Stouts Studio ships a fusion system in future patches.

B tier — Epic

B tier is the mid-game backbone. Most players fill their B-tier set within their first three days. These slimes deliver solid combat stats for autobattling, so even after you have moved on to chasing A and S tiers, your B tier collection still earns you Goop in active worlds.

C tier — Rare

C tier slimes appear frequently in the first 100 rolls. Treat them as Slime Index completion checkpoints — you want all of them logged for the collection meta, but they are not your high-luck-window targets.

D tier — Common

D tier is the starter band. You will roll dozens of these in your first hour. They feed your early Goop income via autobattle and unlock the first world progression.

How to chase rare slimes efficiently

  1. Stack permanent luck first. Follow the luck guide checklist to set up your base before spending Big Dice.
  2. Verify your effective luck. Use the luck calculator to confirm you are above 50x effective before chasing S tier.
  3. Time your Big Dice burn. Save Big Dice for windows where Ultra Luck Boost is active and at least three friends are in your server.
  4. Plan around rebirths. The first hour after a rebirth is the most efficient grind window — your luck multiplier just spiked, so spend free Rolls and consumables immediately.
  5. Cross-check with the Discord. The Stouts Studio Discord posts new slime drops with screenshots. If a slime appears in our list that you cannot roll, double-check the Discord for an event unlock requirement.

FAQ

How many slimes are in Slime RNG?

As of 24 May 2026 the in-game Slime Index lists 25+ confirmed slimes across all five rarity bands. Stouts Studio ships new slimes with daily updates, so expect this number to climb. We refresh the list weekly with new entries we have verified on Discord and Reddit.

What is the rarest slime in the game?

The Mythic S-tier slimes are the rarest. Community testing on r/SlimeRNG_ suggests the rarest individual drop sits below a 0.001% base rate even with a 5-luck permanent base.

Do rare slimes have better stats?

Yes. Higher rarity slimes deliver higher autobattle damage, scale better with toy bonuses, and unlock higher-tier world progression. The bigger story is collection meta — completing the Slime Index has its own permanent reward set per band.

Can I trade slimes with other players?

As of 24 May 2026 Slime RNG does not have a trade system. The dev has not announced trade plans. Stick to rolling and crafting (see the recipes page).

When does Stouts Studio add new slimes?

The official Roblox game page lists Updated 5/23/2026 as the most recent push and content updates ship daily. Expect new slimes weekly minimum, often with a new code drop attached. Check our codes page after every patch.
