Welcome to Slime RNG, the Roblox gacha-incremental sim built by Stouts Studio. The game launched on 25 February 2026 and as of 24 May 2026 sits at over 217,000 concurrent players, 2.44 million favorites, and 299.3 million total visits — top 1% of all Roblox simulators. If you are reading this, you have either just installed the game or you are still on the loading screen wondering what to do first. This guide walks you through the first hour so you skip every common new-player mistake.
The core loop is simple in theory: roll for slimes from a weighted gacha table, collect them in your Slime Index, autobattle enemy slimes to earn Goop (the in-game currency), unlock new worlds, and eventually rebirth for a permanent luck multiplier. The depth comes from optimising your luck stack before every roll — that is the difference between landing one Mythic in a week and landing five.
Step 1 — Set up the free luck stack (5 minutes)
Before you even press Play, set up the four permanent +1 luck bonuses the game itself rewards you for. The game's loading screen literally tells you "👍 Like the game and join the group for +1 Luck!" — that is not a joke, it is a real mechanic that bakes in for the entire lifetime of your Roblox account.
- Like the game. Visit the official Slime RNG page and click the thumbs-up icon. Permanent +1 luck.
- Favorite the game. Click the star icon next to the Like button. Permanent +1 luck.
- Join Stouts Studio's group. Open the group page and hit Join. Permanent +1 luck. Do not leave the group later — your luck disappears if you do.
- Join the Discord. Use the official invite to unlock the
#codeschannel and get notified the second new codes drop. The Discord role does not grant in-game luck but it is the gate to every future Luck Boost potion code.
Step 2 — Redeem every active code (5 minutes)
Codes are free luck-equivalent rewards from Stouts Studio. As of 24 May 2026, the two active codes are fruitfeast (1 free Roll) and gullible (1 Coin). Visit our Slime RNG codes page for the always-current list and copy each into the in-game redemption menu (Shop button → Codes section). Redeem before your first roll so the Free Rolls land in your inventory with your full free luck base already active.
If a code says "Invalid", check the spelling — codes are case-sensitive. goingBananas works, goingbananas does not. Most new players burn 5 minutes typing dead codes because they used a guide from a different month — always cross-check our verified-today list.
Step 3 — Your first roll (3 minutes)
Your first Roll is small and almost certain to land a D-tier (Common) slime. That is fine. The point of the first roll is to populate your Slime Index and unlock the autobattle UI. Press the Roll button on the central HUD, wait for the animation, and accept whatever you get. Then immediately repeat — the early Rolls cost nothing meaningful, and you want at least three D-tier slimes auto-fighting for Goop income while you set up the rest of the stack.
Step 4 — Start the autobattle (2 minutes)
Once you have a few slimes, the game spawns enemy slimes you can fight. The fights happen automatically — you do not need to click. Watching the autobattle is optional but the rewards (Goop, occasional drops) are not. Make sure your strongest slime is equipped before stepping into a higher-difficulty zone. If your party wipes, you respawn instantly but lose autobattle time.
Step 5 — Farm your first 50K Goop (15-25 minutes)
Goop is the universal in-game currency. You need 50,000 Goop to unlock your first rebirth (see the rebirth guide). The fastest way to farm early Goop:
- Stay in World 1 until your strongest slime can one-shot the basic enemies.
- Move to World 2 (Crystal Caverns) as soon as it unlocks — the Goop per enemy is roughly 2x.
- Equip any Goop Boost from codes or daily login rewards before starting a 10-minute autobattle session.
- Read the goop farming guide for the spot-by-spot Goop-per-hour breakdown.
Step 6 — Stack luck before your next big roll (5 minutes)
Now that you have a Goop income and a baseline collection, stop and set up luck before spending another Roll. Active Luck Boost (from a code or in-game shop), five friends invited to your server, and any pending free Rolls all dramatically swing your roll outcomes. Plug your current stack into the luck calculator and confirm your effective multiplier is at least 10x before spending more Rolls. The luck guide has the full stacking checklist.
Step 7 — Plan your first rebirth (final 10 minutes of the first hour)
Once you have 50K Goop and have unlocked World 2, the rebirth menu becomes available. Do not rebirth instantly — first spend any Big Dice or Luck Boost potions you have queued, since those reset on rebirth. Then open the rebirth UI, confirm, and watch your permanent luck multiplier jump 25-30%. Your second cycle through Worlds 1-3 will clear roughly 1.5x faster than your first.
What to skip as a new player
Five activities that look tempting but waste your first session:
- Robux purchases. The game is free-to-play viable through Rebirth 10. Skip premium until you know which gamepass actually fits your playstyle.
- Hoarding consumables. Big Dice and Luck Boost potions reset on rebirth. Use them, do not save them for "later".
- Joining random servers. Friends-in-server only counts actual Roblox friends. Random teammates do not boost your luck.
- Chasing S-tier slimes day one. Without a 50x+ effective luck stack, S-tier rolls are essentially impossible. Build the base first.
- Following outdated YouTube code lists. Codes rotate weekly. Use our verified codes page, not a video from two months ago.
Common new-player questions
Is Slime RNG free to play?
Yes. The base game is free on Roblox. Optional gamepasses sell luck boosts and cosmetics, but no premium purchase is required to reach Rebirth 5 or collect most of the S tier.
How long does it take to get good at Slime RNG?
About 2-3 hours of focused play to hit Rebirth 1 and unlock the meta-progression loop. From there, casual players average Rebirth 5 within their first week.
What is the difference between Slime RNG and Pet Simulator 99?
Pet Sim 99 is pet-collection-focused with trading and team battles. Slime RNG is gacha-collection with autobattle and rebirths, and does not currently have a trade system. The luck mechanics are similar but the rebirth loop is the bigger differentiator.
Why can't I roll a rare slime?
Effective luck is too low. Check your stack via the luck calculator. Aim for at least 20x effective before chasing A-tier and 50x+ before chasing S-tier.
Where do I get more codes?
Always our codes page (we cross-check 3 outlets weekly) plus the official Stouts Studio Discord. Avoid YouTube thumbnails — fake codes are common.
Next steps after your first hour
Once you have hit Rebirth 1, the game opens up. Your priorities shift from "set up luck base" to "stack multipliers and chase rares". Read the luck guide next for the full stacking meta, then plan your first big grind window with the rebirth guide. When you are ready to chase specific drops, browse the slime list to know which rarity bands respond to your current effective luck. And bookmark our codes page — new codes drop every 5-10 days.
