What rebirthing actually does
Rebirthing resets the following: your Goop balance, your unlocked worlds, your in-progress quests, and your consumable inventory. It does not reset: your Slime Index collection, your owned Lucky toys, your friends list bonus, your codes you have already redeemed, your gamepass purchases, or your rebirth count itself. In exchange, you gain a permanent luck multiplier on top of every other source. The multiplier compounds — Rebirth 3 is worth more than 3x a Rebirth 1 because each tier scales upward.
Think of rebirthing as the prestige cycle in any incremental sim: you trade your current progress for a permanent buff that makes the next cycle faster. Slime RNG follows the standard Roblox gacha-incremental design where the first 3-5 rebirths feel transformative, then diminishing returns kick in around Rebirth 10.

How to rebirth (step-by-step)
- Hit the Goop threshold. Look at the rebirth UI to see your current cost. Use the goop farming guide to optimise farm spots if you are short.
- Reach the world requirement. Each rebirth tier unlocks at a specific world. If your world counter is below the requirement, push through one or two more zones before opening the rebirth menu.
- Save your consumables. Big Dice, Luck Boost potions, and Free Rolls all reset at rebirth. Spend them before you press the rebirth button — preferably during a luck-stacked grind window (see the luck guide).
- Confirm Slime Index lock-in. Your collection survives the reset, but double-check the rebirth confirmation dialog to make sure no event-locked slimes are pending claim.
- Press Rebirth. The animation plays, your world unlocks reset, and your luck multiplier is permanently updated. The next session starts from World 1 with your new permanent luck stack active.
- Re-redeem any persistent codes. Some codes drop consumables (like Big Dice) that you will want immediately after the reset. Check the codes page for what is currently active.
- Re-grind World 1. Thanks to your new luck multiplier, the early worlds clear roughly 25-40% faster than the previous cycle. Aim for the next rebirth tier in one play session.
When NOT to rebirth
Four scenarios where rebirthing now costs you more than it gains:
- You have unused Big Dice or Luck Boost potions. These reset. Use them first. A single Big Dice during a 50x luck window is worth more than the rebirth's percentage bump.
- You are mid-event. The "SLIME RNG ADMIN ABUSE" event listed on the official Roblox page for 30 May 2026 is a likely time-limited event. Do not rebirth during an event with exclusive rewards — your event progress may reset.
- Your friends are about to come online. If you have five Roblox friends scheduled to grind with you in the next hour, hold the rebirth — every rebirth post-friends gain compounds with the friends multiplier.
- You only have minutes left to play. The first 30 minutes post-rebirth is a re-grind. If you cannot commit to that grind window, save the rebirth for the next session.
Rebirth strategy: solo vs co-op
How you rebirth changes drastically depending on whether you grind solo or with friends:
Solo grinders
Without the friends-in-server multiplier, every rebirth percentage matters more proportionally. Solo players should rebirth more aggressively — aim for one rebirth per play session, even if it costs a small Big Dice burn. The compounding kicks in faster because your luck stack is leaner.
Co-op grinders
With 5 friends in server, the multiplier curve is already steep, so you can afford to delay each rebirth until a planned group session. Coordinate two rebirths during the same hour with all five friends online — the post-rebirth re-grind clears 2x faster and you double-dip on the luck multiplier compounding.
Common rebirth mistakes
- Rebirthing with an active Luck Boost potion. The boost timer continues but the base luck resets, so you waste the boost. Wait for it to expire, then rebirth.
- Forgetting the world unlock requirement. Rebirths gate behind specific worlds. If you do not see the option in the UI, you have not unlocked the required world yet.
- Saving Goop instead of rebirthing. Goop does not carry over. Hoarding 5M Goop for a single high-tier rebirth wastes the early rebirth bonuses you could have accumulated.
- Skipping the post-rebirth code re-redemption. Some codes give you free Rolls that are worth far more right after a rebirth (when your luck multiplier just spiked).
